2018 Summer School Information

About eCADEMY Summer School

  • Registration opens April 2nd, see your home school’s counselor to enroll
  • It's highly recommended that students have access to the internet and computer
  • Students can work on classes throughout the day to stay on pace or work ahead
  • Students can complete the course before the 3-week term is over
  • Attendance at a Support Lab is optional as long as the student remains in good standing
  • Parents will be given access to Edgenuity in order to monitor their student’s progress and grades
  • Classes are NCAA approved

Summer School Course Offerings

 

How to get into 2018 high school credit recovery eCADEMY Summer School

  • Student will meet with counselor beginning Monday, April 2nd to determine credit recovery needs
  • Student completes and receives copy of Student Fee Profile and completed Pre-Registration Form from Counselor and schedule
  • Classes will be dropped if tuition is not paid within 7 days of the completed registration.
  • Parent Orientation — Parents can attend an orientation on the eCADEMY 2018 Summer School
  • Program on Monday, June 4th from 4 – 7 pm at the eCADEMY campus.  

Dates 

  • Term 1 June 4–22
  • Term 2 June 25–July 16
  • Graduation Ceremony, Monday, July 23rd, 7:00 pm Kiva Auditorium for graduating seniors only *see your counselor for details

Tuition Rates for APS and APS Charter Students per .5 credit course:

  • $250.00 (non-FRLP participant and non-APS)
  • $125.00 (Reduced FRLP)
  • $ 62.50 (Free FRLP)
  • Tuition Rate for Non-APS Students $250.00—per .5 credit course (Non-APS and Non-APS charter students are not eligible for Free and Reduced Lunch Discount (FRLP)

Tuition Payment Methods — Registration/Enrollment IS NOT COMPLETE until paid in full.

  • Online through ParentVue/SchoolPay Parent Portal
  • In person at eCADEMY, Monday – Thursday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm — No personal checks.
  • In person at City Center, Room 101 West, April – June, Tuesdays and Thursdays only, 9:00 am –
  • 4:00 pm — No personal checks or cash.
  • In person at City Center Registration Events: Saturdays May 5th, 12th, 19th and June 2nd and 23rd from, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. THE LINE CLOSES AT 1:00 pm. If you are in line by 1:00 pm, you will be served. — No personal checks or cash.

Non-APS, APS Charter and Private School students may attend these registration events.  Please Bring a copy of your transcript detailing courses needed for credit recovery.  We cannot schedule you without your transcript, or Counselor Permission Form signed.

 

APS Parents/Students must bring copy of Pre-Registration form, Student Fee Profile (provided by school counselor) and method of payment.

 

Technology

A Support Lab is available for students in need of Technology or Academic assistance. Lab attendance is
optional unless student falls behind the pacing guide or is below 70% actual grade. Attendance will remain mandatory in the classes until student accounts are in good standing.

 

Online learning requires motivation, organization, a commitment to learning. You must have a computer and a broadband internet connection.
